Vivian is a Program Officer at Rural Women Peace Link and has been with the organization for 5 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Moi University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sociology. In her role in the organization, she oversees the implementation of projects under the following thematic areas: Leadership and Governance, Peacebuilding and Conflict Mitigation and Girl Education Support and Mentorship.
She is also a certified Budget Facilitator and Civic Educator from the International Budget Partnership –Kenya, and an inaugural member of the East African Young Women Leaders Mentorship Initiative. In her period at RWPL, she has developed her expertise in project implementation, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization and result-based management.
She has supported the development and establishment of several young women-led and young women-focused initiatives in the organization. She has passion in women leadership, women’s economic empowerment, and girl child mentorship through education and talent development.

RWPL is based in Uasin Gishu County with network operations in North Rift Kenya since 1999. RWPL has a long-established network of women groups in 7 counties including Uasin Gishu, Nandi, West Pokot, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Bungoma and Elgeiyo Marakwet. Our secretariat is based in Eldoret.
